Fourth Of July Barbecue Grill With Weber 2005 Performer Charcoal Grill

Hubby and his buddies are once again all set for the yearly Fourth of July grill. Are you?

According to the National Retail Federation, 62.6% of Americans will host or attend a cookout, barbecue or picnic this year, compared to 61.2% in 2008.

The main reason why more Americans plan to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday closer to home this year by having barbecues or picnics has got to do with the gas prices on the rise again and the economy still struggling.

Instead of spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on holidays or vacations, it’s more money saving to have neighborhood gatherings or local celebrations.

This is my grill model – Weber 2005 Model 841001 22 1/2-Inch Performer Charcoal Grill With Touch & Go Propane Ignition.

Weber 2005 Model 841001 22 1/2-Inch Performer Charcoal GrillWhen I first wanted to buy a charcoal grill, I knew it was going to be a Weber. To make buying the right grill easier, I picked the one with many positive reviews posted by shoppers.

Although hubby was against at getting the table and charcoal storage and just wanted the single dome at first, he was actually very surprised with how much easier it was to have the storage and table accessible.

After having this charcoal grill for 2 years, I must say that this grill is worth every dime.

Its so easy to start and regulate temperature on this grill. Place the charcoal in a pyramid over the gas burner, click a button once and walk away for 8 minutes and the coals are ready to roll, turn the gas off and the coals will cook for and regulate temperature on this grill.

It’s a perfect grill for me considering that I still have the charcoal flavor without having to mess around with a lighter fluid. :-)
