How’s your Christmas shopping? Have you just started or already finished your Xmas gift shopping? Well, I am almost done with the gifts for him and her for the family members.

For your information, there are only 8 days left to order for Christmas at Amazon.com. Hurry!

Let me share with you what I have bought and haven’t bought for my family members. This year, I am trying Christmas Saving, not Christmas Shopping. :-)

For Grandma & Mom – Handmade Voucher Books. They are the most inexpensive Christmas gifts, but I tell you, they are the most meaningful gifts my old granny and mommy have ever wanted.

Making each of them a voucher book for things that they can redeem through the year such as cooking their favorite meal, giving them a back rub, going for a stroll, doing knitting together, baking in the kitchen and many others is simply great. This means there is always a family member spending time accompanying them or chatting with them.

For Uncle Lawrence – A $50 Gift Card. Choosing the right gift for this uncle is very very difficult, so the best way is to gift him a $50 gift card and let him buy what he wants after his own routine of choosing, reading reviews and comparing prices of various brand names.

For Uncle Liam – A Pre-Paid Gift Card. I am still considering whether to gift him a pre-paid gift card to the local gas station or the grocery store where he shops.

For Aunt Eli – I Dreamed A Dream by Susan Boyle. $10.99. My aunt loves Susan very very much because of her incredibly beautiful voice. I am sure Susan’s Amazing Grace will run chills up and down her back.

For Hubby – No Christmas present exchange with hubby this year! Well, actually he got a quite expensive birthday gift this September. So, there isn’t a need for any gift this Xmas. :-)

For the Elderly Couple Neighbours – Pay the December electricity bill for the elderly couple neighbours. What a practical Christmas gift idea I chanced upon online!
